Glogster allows you to create an ellaborate digital poster or visual. There are numerous backgrounds and images to use from, and you can click and drag immages or text to where ever you want it. It allows student to be extremely creative and create a fun and appealing product to help them learn. You can upload images, add animation, videos, or audio onto the digital page.
For teachers you can post assignments, quizzes, lecture notes/presentations, ect.
How does tool apply to your curricular area?
Chemistry and Biology: You can have students write up a lab report, or create an experiment and have them explain it through glogster. You could also have them take information or visuals from the lab and have them create a page to explain it to make sure they fully understand the concepts and why they did the lab. Lab Example
You could have students pick a subject to present/ present a project and have them use glogster instead of youtube and powerpoint because it includes both in one page allowing less navigation and more focus on the topic under discussion. Also as a teacher you could use it for your lecture as a replacment for powerpoint or other visuals.
